Mark Sanborn Honored with Cavett Award
In 2007, the National Speakers Association (NSA), the leading organization for professional speakers, honored Mark with the Cavett Award at their national convention.
The Cavett Award is the highest honor bestowed by the NSA on its members. Each year it is presented to a professional speaker whose accomplishments and contributions over the years have reflected outstanding credit, respect, honor and admiration on NSA and the speaking profession in general. The award is named after the founder of the NSA, the late Cavett Robert, CSP, CPAE. Cavett’s illustrious career helped guide and inspire many NSA members.
Nido Qubein, CSP, CPAE, a past NSA president and founder and chairman emeritus of the NSA Foundation stated, "Mark Sanborn epitomizes the highest form of excellence in professional speaking and demonstrates amply that service to humankind is a worthy purpose in life," says "He is a hero, a model and a mentor to so many, always giving of his energy and resources unselfishly."
