NSA Honors Mark H. Sanborn with 2007 Cavett Award

Tempe, AZ — The National Speakers Association (NSA), the leading organization for professional speakers, presented Mark H. Sanborn, CSP, CPAE, with the Cavett Award at the 2007 NSA Convention in San Diego, Calif.
The Cavett Award is the highest honor NSA bestows on its members. It is presented annually to a professional speaker whose accomplishments over the years have reflected outstanding credit, respect, honor and admiration on NSA and the speaking profession. The award is named after NSA's late founder, Cavett Robert, CSP, CPAE, whose illustrious career helped guide and inspire many NSA members.
"Mark Sanborn epitomizes the highest form of excellence in professional speaking and demonstrates amply that service to humankind is a worthy purpose in life," says Nido Qubein, CSP, CPAE, a past NSA president and founder and chairman emeritus of the NSA Foundation. "He is a hero, a model and a mentor to so many, always giving of his energy and resources unselfishly."
Sanborn is president of Sanborn & Associates, Inc., an idea studio dedicated to developing leaders in business and in life. He is an international bestselling author and noted authority on leadership and customer service.
Sanborn holds the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association and is a member of NSA’s CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame. Mark served as the president of the National Speakers Association in 2003-2004. He is also a member of the exclusive Speakers Roundtable, comprised of 20 of the top speakers in America.
