Mark Sanborn Inducted as President of National Speakers Association
(TEMPE, Ariz. 2003) The National Speakers Association (NSA), the leading organization for experts who speak professionally, recently inducted Mark Sanborn, CSP, CPAE, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, as its 2003-04 President. Sanborn took the helm at the 2003 NSA Convention, July 26-29, in New Orleans, La.
Sanborn, who became the 30th President in NSA history, unveiled his presidential theme, Expertise to the Power of Eloquence and told the audience of 1,500 professional speakers that his focus will be advancing the art and value of experts who speak professionally by developing, enhancing and using expertise as a competitive advantage. Sanborn believes that challenging times in the meeting industry can become an opportunity for NSA members to rise to new heights.
"As president of NSA, I look forward to bringing definition and framework to expertise: what it is, how to develop and enhance it, how to demonstrate it and other important nuances of the topic," says Sanborn. "We must take the timeless principles that NSA was founded upon and apply them to the unique challenges we face in new ways."
Sanborn is president of Sanborn & Associates, Inc., an idea studio dedicated to developing leaders in business and in life.
