Mark,

Thanks for the blog. After i washed the movie"Enron" which shows me how human can wronfully use their leadership power, I do believe that this book " How to morally use the immoral techniques of Bernie Madoff to get what you want" will help get ourself in shape.

Again thanks.

Thanks to your book, 'The Encore Effect' we do know that if what we do is truly remarkable, then, exclamation marks are superfluous. The crying need of the hour is a huge dose of authenticity.

Thanks and regards,

Holy Moley! This is the absolute greatest blog post I've ever read! You've hit the nail square on the head with your brilliant commentary, and I couldn't agree more!!!

I think everyone in the free world needs to read this post! It should be a prerequisite for graduation from any college, trade school, and should even be a fundamental tenet of the Boy Scout's creed!

By golly, I'm going to change my name to Eric Exclamation!!!

Thank you for changing my life and altering the course of humanity!!!!

Mark,
Thank you for this honest blog. I appreciate and respect your asking more questions than giving answers.
My question continues as to how do we stand out in this maniacal crowd without screaming ourselves, and becoming part of the problem? Quiet but strong leadership seems to get lost in all the noise of today.

I tend to try and live my strength, live my leadership, and let my work reflect my integrity. I may not get noticed, but everyday I have lived true to myself.

Thanks again Mark...

Mark, Thank you! This really needed to be stated.
Too many blogs and publications by otherwise talented and innovative people amount to hypsters hyping the hypsters...ad nauseum.

Old ideas (often still good ideas) are reframed as "innovative", "groundbreaking" simply by inventing and substituting a new word, term or process for one perfectly full of meaning and import ("crowdsourcing" is the peeve of the day word for me). Along the way, nothing gets accomplished except noise and chaff that obscures - the "fog of leadership".

Hey, I wrote an entire comment without claiming something new, and without exclamation points. I may recover.
