I think these are great values to have whether you’re an entrepreneur, an employee or a citizen. ESPECIALLY the self-learning and self-motivation part. I am blessed with a library staff that exhibits all four of these qualities and it is part of what I appreciate about working where I do.

One extra word about self-learning. With all the universities putting course materials, including lectures online, with professional associations offering continuing education via podcasts, and material available through community libraries, there just isn’t an excuse not to learn outside your workplace.
